About BeeReady

What it is

BeeReady helps your household follow the UK government’s Be Ready (opens in a new tab) advice: have enough supplies and a plan to manage for three days if essential services stop.

BeeReady is independent. It is not run by or connected to the UK government, and it does not send alerts or monitor emergencies.

Your privacy

Everything you enter stays in this browser on this device. There are no accounts, no tracking cookies and no analytics.

If you choose to save your plan with a household code, it’s encrypted on your phone with that code before it’s uploaded. We store only the locked copy and can’t read it. Deleting the cloud copy from Save and share removes it from our servers.

Because it’s stored on your device, clearing your browser data deletes it. Use Settings to save a backup file.

Shop links take you to the retailer’s own website. What happens there, including any cookies they set, is covered by that retailer’s privacy policy.

How BeeReady is funded

Links marked Ad are affiliate links: if you buy something, BeeReady may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It doesn’t change what we recommend.

As an Amazon Associate, BeeReady earns from qualifying purchases.

Quantities and advice come from official guidance, not from what earns a commission. Use whichever shop you like, including ones we don’t link to.

Sources

Guidance is based on GOV.UK Be Ready, Ready Scotland, nidirect and other official sources, used under the Open Government Licence v3.0 (opens in a new tab). Costs are rough estimates for planning.

Version 1.1.0

BeeReady is an independent planner. It is not a UK government service and does not send alerts. In an emergency, call 999 and follow instructions from the emergency services.
